Trad. Traditional Finnish Fiddle Tunes on Guitars and Mandolins
The cd you're holding in your hands is a collection of mainly Finnish fiddle tunes. They are arranged for several different combinations of mandolins and guitars, from solos to mandolin quartets. The tunes have been chosen over a longer time span, as a teacher at the Sibelius Academy Folk Music Department and on various folk music camps. This cd mirrors my personal development as a player of Finnish folk music. It also reflects the influence of the other string instrument traditions.
Hope you enjoy the music,
Petri Hakala
