I got seriously into percussive bowing techniques in the Haapavesi folk course in 2001 when being taught by Casey Driessen, an American bluegrass fiddler. Here, the percussive bowing style has been combined with Raharinki as played by Alajärvi-based Aukusti and Yrjö Isoniemi.
