 I started live with music from an early age, my mother has been well known lament singer, and it is why music always was part of my daily life.
In my teens I started playing tanbour which is an old religion instrument from Iran. Later along with my university study, I started to travel to the west part of Iran to learn the repertoire of tanbour and research on my unfinished project. During the tree years periodic field work and live with various musician, got  inspired to go ahead and learn more about other music cultures, I had to move, I moved to Turkey, and after two years living in such a amazing and colorful country I’ve migrated to Finland, to the territory of KALEVALA, beautiful  häävalssit and gloomy Christmas songs. I began to study folk music at the Sibelius-Academy, where I graduated as a bachelor of folk music.

I have been playing with many different musicians from different music areas. I started playing with folk bands, traditional bands and latter with jazz, Nordic, African, Latin and other music genres and bands.
